LinkedIn Bloggers Carnival

Are you familiar with blog carnivals? A blog carnival is a collection of posts by different bloggers that are related to a particular topic. They are usually published on a weekly or monthly basis. I became involved with the Virtual Assistant and Home Business Blog Carnival for several months, but unfortunately, it has been discontinued. More recently, I’ve been submitting posts to the LinkedIn Bloggers Carnival and I encourage you to check out the October edition over at soho-life.com.

I’m going to be hosting next month’s edition, so if you’re a member of LinkedIn and regularly write a blog, I hope you’ll consider participating. It only takes a minute to submit a post that you’ve already written, which can be about any business topic (including LinkedIn, of course). I’m looking forward to seeing lots of submissions!

I just read about Linkedin on About.com. Linkedin was one of 3 new sites added to the About.com Top 10 Employment site list…linkedin is still the only social network on the whole list though.

    http://www.linkedin.com (professional networking)
    http://www.indeed.com (aggregated listings)
http://www.realmatch.com (matches you to the perfect job)

Complete top 10 job site list here:

James, LinkedIn has a lot of excellent features for job seekers so I’m not surprised it’s on About.com’s top ten list.
