What is an Internet Marketing Virtual Assistant?

Since announcing Scott’s certification as an Internet Marketing Virtual Assistant, quite a few new and existing clients have contacted us to find out how working with an IMVA can benefit them.

Like virtual assistants in general, IMVAs offer a wide range of services, depending on the specific interests and abilities of the individual VA, but an Internet Marketing Virtual Assistant who has been certified by VAClassroom has completed training modules covering the following skills:

  • Blog management and support
  • Social media marketing and submission
  • Article submission
  • Affiliate marketing research and recruitment
  • Online competitor analysis
  • Web analytics tracking and reporting
  • Effective keyword research
  • Press release submissions
  • Internet market research strategies
  • Email auto-responder management
  • Online Project management
  • Video marketing support
  • Podcast submission
  • Online survey set-up and management

Students are required to complete a series of hands-on exercises to practice and demonstrate their skills, and must score a minimum of 80% on all tests to receive their certification.

In the coming weeks, I’ll describe some specific ways that an IMVA can enhance your online marketing by supporting your business in the above areas.
