Melodee, one thing I do is avoid taking on any new projects if I can help it. Just today I turned down three projects, including one from a current client and one from a past client. I'm so focused on what I want my business to look like in 2009, that it's not that hard to say no to anything that doesn't fit into that picture.

(In other words, I don't push myself as hard as I might at other times of the year.)

Thanks for the heads up on Alex's newsletter. I love his blog! I need to see if he can help me with the feeling of paralysis that I've been having lately. I've got sooooo many things that I need to, and want to get done in the next month or so that I find myself not doing anything (except posting to FaceBook and to other people's blogs :-))

I think the holiday season makes it difficult, too. My usual routine is thrown off because my son stayed with us for a week and I've been going out to lunch and to holiday parties. I know my Butt Wiggle Diet has gone out the window for the past couple of weeks!

How do you keep on task in December, Janet?
