At last year’s Online International Virtual Assistants Convention (OIVAC), I had the pleasure of attending an excellent seminar presented by Cristina Favreau, called Designing a Compelling 30 Second Intro. In addition to some great ideas I’d never thought of in my several years of networking, her presentation reinforced some of the things I knew but wasn’t acting upon.
I’ve probably attended hundreds of networking events since starting my business, and I’ve heard some amazing introductions, but quite frankly, most are lacking in some way. When you only have 30 seconds to get your message out there, it’s a shame to waste that time talking about things that people really aren’t interested in hearing. After all, when it comes down to it, people just want to know your answer to one question:
What’s in it for me?
If you haven’t been getting good results from your networking efforts, maybe it’s the way you introduce yourself!
Now you can get the help you need in Cristina’s new e-book, Beyond Muzak, Designing a Compelling 30-Second Intro. Are you hesitant because you’ve bought books or e-books in the past, but haven’t implemented the strategies described in them? That’s okay! For an additional charge, you can also schedule a one-on-one 30-minute brainstorming session with Cristina. I had a similar session with her after last year’s OIVAC, and trust me, she knows her stuff!
With either option, you’ll also receive recordings and transcriptions of interviews with several other experts. Right now introductory pricing is in effect, so act quickly!
