After yesterday’s post about planting the seeds of greatness, I just have to tell you what Canadian author Kathy Stinson is up to right now!
Yesterday she left for Liberia to spend a week working with authors who are writing books to be used in the classroom to teach children to read, through a program which will surely make a huge difference in the lives of thousands. With barely two months since she was invited to take part, Kathy has managed to make time in her busy life to get ready for this adventure by learning about the country, preparing for the sessions she’s leading, making travel plans, and more. I would be impressed even if she weren’t my sister and favourite client!
Kathy is sharing her experience with the Reading Liberia program on her blog, Turning the Pages, so do drop by and show your support. While you’re at it, why not take a look at her freshly re-organized home page?
How far would you go to plant the seeds of greatness?

Hi Janet, I’m home now. I can’t believe how thoroughly Liberia and the people there got under my skin in such a short time. A ‘back home’ (but still looking back) blog post coming your way soon!
Very clever of you to find that flag/map. And thank you for your kind words. I think you’re pretty great too
Kathy, welcome home! Looking forward to that blog post and, of course, catching up with you in person!
