It’s time to submit your nominations for the two awards which will presented on International Virtual Assistants Day!
Launched in 2006 by the Alliance for Virtual Businesses (A4VB), International Virtual Assistants Day (IVAD) is celebrated annually on the third Friday of May. The creed of this event is Dedication, Experience, Expertise and Determination to Succeed (DEEDS).
An important part of IVAD is recognizing exceptional virtual assistants for their contributions to the industry through the granting of two awards.
The Thomas Leonard International Virtual Assistant of Distinction is to honour a virtual assistant who has been in business for at least 5 years and who has contributed to the industry in such a way that it has provided a positive impact on many others and helped them to build a successful business. They may have headed up a VA organization or activity, written a book or other publication specifically to help other VAs, been a mentor to fellow VAs, or helped the industry grow in some other way.
The Janet Jordan Achievement Award is to honour a virtual assistant who has been in business for less than 5 years and has reached a milestone in their short career in the industry. This milestone needs to be an accomplishment that has helped to boost their new business to an overwhelming success.
If you know an outstanding VA, here’s your chance to help them get the recognition they deserve!
Nomination forms for both awards may be downloaded from http://www.oivac.com/vadayawards.htm but you need to hurry, as the submission deadline is this Friday, March 20.
