It’s finally here: that long-awaited first day of spring! And although Mother Nature still might get the last laugh, at the moment the sun is shining and the air is full of promise.
During the winter, because it’s much more comfortable to stay indoors where it’s warm, it’s too easy to become inactive, and this can make us sluggish, both mentally and physically. Now it’s time to change that! My friends and I have already resumed our morning walks, more than a month earlier than last year.
It’s also very invigorating to be able to work with the windows open and to have more hours of daylight! This makes it the perfect time to start doing something with those ideas you’ve been tossing around in your head, but haven’t had the energy or motivation to carry out.
“Hoe while it is spring, and enjoy the best anticipations.Ā It is not much matter if things do not turn out well.”
Charles Dudley Warner
This doesn’t just apply to gardening! Maybe that project will be successful, and maybe it won’t. The important thing is to take advantage of your newly awakened energy and give it a shot!
I have some exciting projects in the works that I’ll be announcing shortly. How about you?

It was tough to leave the 85 degree temps of Arizona to return to the 40s of Wisconsin, but I’ve got Spring Fever now and I’m rarin’ to go! Can’t wait to finish up the projects that I’ve already started
Welcome back to the real world, Melodee!
Nothing like a great vacation, combined with spring fever, to get you energized!
