Time to Build a Better Blog

If you’re into blogging, you’re probably familiar with Darren Rowse. In case you’re not, I’ll tell you that Darren makes his living by blogging full time at ProBlogger, Digital Photography School and TwiTip. I’m mentioning him today because he’s about to launch the third 31 Days to Build a Better Blog project.

For 31 days, starting on Monday, April 6, Darren will make a post at ProBlogger related to the project. Each post will teach a theory and assign related homework. He plans to cover a wide range of topics to benefit new, intermediate, and advanced bloggers, including writing content, interacting with readers, finding new readers, design, tools, and more.

Although anyone can read Darren’s blog and complete the assignments if they wish, he’s inviting bloggers who are serious about improving their blogs to register for the program. There’s no cost to do so, but those who sign up will receive additional pointers as well as other bonuses. Thousands of people have registered already, so there should be some pretty exciting things happening in the blogosphere over the next month or so!

I’m currently reading ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income, which Darren co-wrote with Chris Garrett, which is packed with great information. I’m really excited about putting Darren’s ideas into action, so I am taking the challenge.

Will you join me?

It’s going to be great! Once I got my blog the way I wanted it, I’ve made very few changes, but I know there’s still lots of room for improvement. It will be so helpful to have an actual program to follow, especially when it’s run by a pro like Darren Rowse!
