Is Victoria Day weekend like our Labor Day weekend? Do you sit around and grill food and play frisbee?

That sounds about right, Melodee (though we celebrate Labour Day too). Victoria Day weekend is the unofficial kickoff to summer and is often called the May 2-4 weekend, because Queen Victoria’s birthday is May 24, and it’s time to go out and get a 2-4 of beer!

Ahhh, then it’s like our Memorial Day weekend in May when we sit around, grill food, play frisbee and drink beer :-)

That’s it, exactly! So if you come and visit me next weekend, and I go and visit you the following weekend, we can have a double-header! May 4-8 anyone?
