Black Friday, the day after American Thanksgiving, has long been a popular time for retail shopping, and Cyber Monday has been around for 20 years now. At this point, we’re so used to seeing incredible offers that many of us hold off on buying something, hoping it’ll pop up in a holiday deal.

There are tens of thousands of offers floating around, but I wanted to highlight a few tools and services I rely on — just in case you’re looking to simplify or level up your business before the new year. Some of the links below are affiliate links for tools I use personally.

Email Marketing: Kit

I’ve been using another email marketing platform for longer than I can remember, and honestly, it’s been frustrating keeping up with constant changes, not to mention seeing features disappear unless I moved to a higher plan. When I created POPS Circle, I wanted a clean slate, so after seeing a colleague’s setup, I tried Kit, and I’m so glad I did!

It’s easy to use, surprisingly robust, and even the free level includes features you usually have to pay extra for. I’ve set up a general sign-up form for new subscribers and a separate landing page for POPS Circle meeting RSVPs, and subscribers get different email responses depending on which form they complete. (You definitely can’t do that for free on the other platform!)

I also love that Kit’s built-in tools let me sell POPS Circle memberships and Business Directory listings on my website. No more juggling a separate app, another win!

I’m still exploring all the ways Kit can save time and streamline my work, but so far, I’ve been really impressed.

If leveling up your email marketing is on your list, this is a great time. From now until December 2, you can get 60% off the Creator Monthly Plan for your first three months when you use my exclusive link. You won’t find this offer on Kit’s site!

Stock Photos: DepositPhotos

I’ve been sourcing photos from DepositPhotos for over ten years, and I always keep an eye out for their deals.

Right now, for $39.00 you get 100 credits towards image, video, or audio files plus 100 AI image generator credits. Videos cost 20 credits, but everything else is one credit each, and there’s no time limit on using them.

Even better – from now until November 24, you can get an extra 10% off with code BFPics10.

This deal is through AppSumo, who feature discounts on software and tools for your business all year round. It’s worth a peek if you’re looking for a new way to handle a certain task; just watch out for shiny object syndrome! They make everything sound irresistible.

Website Policy Generator: Termageddon

Website policies aren’t the fun part of running a business, but they’re definitely one of the most important. And here’s something most people don’t know: you’re required to follow the privacy laws of not just your own location but also the locations of your website visitors. What?! How is anyone supposed to keep track of all that?

I took a lot of work (and stress) off my plate when I signed up for Termageddon. It’s a comprehensive, affordable policy generator that covers more laws and regulations than any other online solution I’ve seen. It includes your Privacy Policy, Terms, Cookie Policy, Cookie Consent, and Disclaimer – all designed to help protect you and your website.

The best part is that once it’s set up, Termageddon notifies you when laws change or when new questions are available, and it can even auto-update your policies on your website. Huge sigh of relief.

Until December 8, you save 30% off your first year, which brings year one to $83.30, then $119 per year after that. It’s a solid way to make sure your policies stay up to date without having to track every new regulation yourself.

Your Turn – Found any great deals?

If you’ve spotted any Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals that other readers might appreciate, feel free to share them in the comments.

And if you’re running a promotion yourself, go ahead and add that too — I’d love to help spread the word!

Wow, Janet! These sound like great business investments, and I appreciate you sharing your finds. Kit sounds interesting. I use Mailchimp. I’m not sure it does the same things that Kit does. I do know that the benefits do change, as does the price. And many of the services I use seem to change things. When they do, the new plans aren’t always apples to apples, so it’s challenging to compare the plans and benefits. Ugh!

These are definitely fabulous deals, particularly for Termageddon, as it takes so much of the stress out of getting that language right!

And I know that you are loyal to Deposit Photos, so I’m not surprised to see it earning your praise here.
